About this course:

Emotional maturity is the ability to be yourself without the need to compete with, or compare yourself, to others. However, most people tend to live from the mind, where doubt, fear and confusion can often abound. This course is about how to make the change from mind-based to heart-based living, which is the key to emotional growth.

  • Emotional growth is often held back by fear. Fear is a part of being human, but it shouldn’t prevent you from being yourself and living your life.The first step is to acknowledge and accept your limitations and any negative behaviour patterns you may have. No growth can take place until we acknowledge and deal with our fears.

  • Fear is not defeated intellectually, but through connecting with your emotions and generating energy in your heart centre. Accepting fear is a powerful action which leads to emotional growth.

  • Our level of emotional development has a huge effect on our personal relationships. Being in the mind or in the heart will influence the way you behave with, and react to, other people.

  • Healing negative emotional behaviour is possible but takes time. There will be a transition period in which you will start to implement new behaviours, but you won’t get things right all the time. It takes time and patience to create new routines and responses, but the rewards are huge. This course contains practical guidance and techniques that will help you to identify and heal your negative patterns, enabling you to create new, healthier strategies. The course also includes a breathing exercise to help you generate more energy in the heart centre.
